Softnet

Our office, Softnet, is located at He/14 in the City Center of Sector-4, right in the middle of Bokaro Steel City. It is a busy area with lots of shops and offices, so there is always a crowd outside. We are in a standard commercial block, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our servers and workstations set up for the software and networking work we do. Because we are in a steel city, a lot of our neighbors are related to the industry in some way. We spend our days coding or troubleshooting network issues for other small businesses in the sector. The office is often a bit cluttered with routers, cables, and old monitors we haven't gotten around to recycling yet. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a screen to see what you need. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls nearby in Sector-4. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is lucky because it gets incredibly hot here in the summer. We have a small kettle for making coffee when we are working late on a project. It is a practical space where we focus on getting the job done. We have been in this spot for several years and have seen the city center grow around us. It is a good place to be.
