Alkomo Rasayan

Alkomo Rasayan is based out in MIDC Boisar. If you know that area, you know it’s a massive sprawl of industrial units and factories as far as the eye can see. We are just one of the many buildings in that complex. It takes a while to get here from the station because of the traffic and the sheer size of the industrial zone. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have the production area and a small corner where we do the paperwork. It’s a very functional setup without any unnecessary bits. The walls are a bit stained from years of work and the floor is hard concrete. We spend our days dealing with various chemical processes and making sure the supplies are coming in on time. Boisar can get very humid, so we usually have the big exhaust fans running constantly to keep the air moving. It’s not the kind of place where you’d bring guests for a fancy dinner, but it’s perfect for what we do. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby towns and we all just get on with our tasks. There’s a canteen a short walk away where we usually go for a quick lunch of dal and rice. Life in MIDC is about the work and the schedule. We don't worry much about how things look as long as the drums are filled and the orders are ready for the trucks that come in the evening.
