Siva Sri Paper Plate Industries

At Siva Sri Paper Plate Industries, we’re mostly busy with the machines. We are located at Plot No 10, over in Sai Bhavani Nagar with the address D No 8-43/47/19/E. If you come by, you’ll hear the thumping of the press machines all day long. We make all sizes of plates, from the small ones for tiffins to the big ones for meals. It’s a noisy environment and there’s always paper dust in the air. We have a few workers who handle the raw materials and pack the finished plates into plastic bags. My job is to make sure the dies don't get jammed and the heaters are working right. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small space for the stock. We deal with local vendors and some of the bigger shops around 500092. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late and we have to work double shifts to catch up. It’s not a glamorous business, but there’s always a demand for plates. We spend a lot of time loading the tempo in the evenings. The heat from the machines can be a lot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s just honest work, making something people use every day and then throw away. We’ve been at this spot for several years now. It’s a noisy life but it keeps us going.
