Hotel-Lumbini International

This place is located right in the middle of the Mukherji Nagar area, specifically over at H-1339 near the Batra cinema. If you know this part of New Delhi-9, you know it is always crowded and there is a lot of energy on the streets at all hours. Sandeep Sundaram is the name you will likely hear if you call or stop by the desk. Hotel-Lumbini International is not one of those massive glass buildings you see in the fancy parts of the city. We are a smaller spot, more like a place where people actually talk to each other instead of just passing through. The rooms are not huge or anything, but we keep them clean and the beds are good enough for a decent night of sleep. Most of our guests are students or people visiting for work, so the building stays pretty lively during the daytime. Sometimes the noise from the busy street outside leaks in, but that is just part of living in Delhi. We try to make sure everyone has what they need, like an extra towel or a bottle of water, without being too formal about it. There is no big fancy lobby with a fountain, just a simple counter and some chairs where you can sit and wait. We have been at this address for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It is a practical place to stay if you have business in the north part of town.
