M/S Radha Madhav Stone Industries is tucked away in the village of Bhabanandapur, near Nalhati. If you come out this way, you’ll hear the sound of the stone work long before you see the gates. We’ve been operating in this area for quite some time now. Stone is a hard business, literally and figuratively. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and long hours out in the sun. Our yard is filled with various sizes and types of stone, and there is always a layer of fine dust over everything. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning; we spend most of our time out where the action is. The crew is a bunch of local guys who aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. We’ve seen the seasons come and go, and the demand for stone changes, but we just keep the machines running. It’s a basic operation without any frills.
