Axis Bank Limited

This branch of Axis Bank Limited is located in Santiniketan, specifically over by Deer Park. It is a unique spot because we are situated care of Professor Sibaji Chakraborti’s place. It is not your typical bank building. Being in Birbhum, the pace is much slower than what you would find in a place like Kolkata. We mostly serve the local community here, including the students and staff from the university. It is a very green and peaceful area, which makes coming to work quite pleasant compared to a crowded city office. We do not have a lot of walk-in traffic, so things stay pretty quiet most of the time. We handle basic banking needs for the residents and some of the smaller local businesses. Sometimes we have to explain things a few times to the older folks who come in, but we do not mind. It is just how it is here. The office has a very personal feel to it. You get to know everyone's name and their family history after a while. We are not trying to be the biggest bank in the world, just a reliable place for people in Santiniketan to keep their money and get their chores done. It is a simple setup in a beautiful part of West Bengal. We have been here at this address for some time and it suits us just fine.
