The Shiva Earth Movers

The Shiva Earth Movers is located up in Harnora village in the Barmana area. It is a bit of a climb to get out here but we like the quiet of the hills when the machines aren't running. Our yard is right in the village and we have been part of this community for a long time. People around Tehsil Sadar know us pretty well because we are always out on the local roads. Working in this terrain is tough on the equipment so we spend a lot of time checking the tracks and the hydraulics. The air is usually fresh unless we are kicking up a lot of red dust during a busy week. We keep things pretty simple and don't worry much about having a big polished setup. Our office is just a small room where we keep the books and have our tea. It gets quite cold here in the winters but the work doesn't really stop. We have seen the village change a lot over the years and we have been involved in a lot of the local building that has happened. If you come by Harnora you will probably see our yellow machines sitting near the main path. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay out of trouble. It is a good way to make a living in this part of the world.
