Icici Lombard Gic Ltd.

This branch of Icici Lombard Gic Ltd. is over at Quarter No. 206 in the Gitanjali Apartments. It is right on Link Road in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The 495001 area is pretty central, so we see a lot of people coming by. We handle insurance stuff, mostly helping people with their claims or helping them understand their policies. It’s an apartment converted into an office, so it has a bit of a cramped feeling when more than three people show up at once. We have filing cabinets lining the walls because there’s so much paperwork to keep track of. The building is older and the elevator can be a bit moody, so most of us just take the stairs. Link Road is always busy with bikes and cars, so it’s never really quiet here. We aren't the main headquarters, just a local office trying to help out folks in Bilaspur. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out forms on the computer. Sometimes people come in frustrated about their insurance, and we just try to talk through it with them as best as we can. We take turns going for lunch so someone is always at the desk. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now and most of the locals know the Gitanjali building. It's a steady routine every single day.
