Thomas Cook Bikaner

We’ve been here at Khajanchi Market for a while now. Shop No 8 in Block A. It’s right on Kem Road, so it is easy for people to find us when they are out shopping or doing errands in the main part of Bikaner. Most people know this building. We handle travel stuff for the locals here. It’s just how we spend our days, looking at tickets and helping folks get their papers in order. Sometimes the market gets really crowded, especially in the evenings, but we are always here at the desk. You just walk past the other shops and you’ll see our sign. We keep things pretty simple. It isn't a big fancy office, just a practical space where work gets done. My desk is usually covered in notes and schedules. We see a lot of the same faces coming back when they need to go somewhere for a wedding or just a trip. The 334002 area is quite busy. We try to keep the phone lines open but it’s often better to just drop in and talk face to face. It’s quieter in the mornings before the main rush starts. We’ve seen the market change over the years, new shops coming and going, but we stay put in Block A. It’s a good spot for us because everyone knows Kem Road. We just keep doing what we do every day.
