R.K Dall Mill

Our mill is situated in Shri Dungargarh, which is part of the wider Bikaner district. It’s a dry area, and the sun can be really strong and punishing in the late afternoons. We are located near Bheruji Mandir Road, so we often hear the bells ringing from the temple when there’s a festival or a particularly busy morning prayer session going on. R.K Dall Mill is a place where we spend our entire days processing the local pulses that come in. It’s definitely dusty work, and the machines can be quite loud when they are all running at the same time. We don’t have any fancy office space to sit in. Mostly, we are just out on the mill floor or standing near the loading area where the big trucks come in to pick up or drop off bags. People around Bikaner know us as just a regular, working local mill. We don’t put any effort into marketing or advertisements because word of mouth in a place like Shri Dungargarh is usually more than enough. The building is a simple, sturdy structure that keeps the sun out as much as it possibly can. We work hard to keep the equipment in good shape because a breakdown during a busy week can really slow things down for everyone. Sometimes we sit outside in the shade for tea when things are a bit quiet. It’s a good, simple life working with the local crops.
