Maru Vikas Agro Producer Company Limited

We started Maru Vikas Agro Producer Company Limited right here in Punrasar because this is where we live and work. It's a small place in Shri Dungargar, out in the Bikaner district, and honestly, things can be tough for farmers in this part of Rajasthan. Our office is just at number 01 in the village. Most of us grew up seeing how the crops grow or don't grow depending on the rain. We decided to get together as a producer company so we could handle our farming business better. It's not fancy. It’s just a group of local people trying to make a living from the land. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, and the dust gets everywhere, but we keep at it. Being in Punrasar means we are close to the fields. We don't have a big corporate building or anything like that. It is just a practical way for us to organize our work. When people ask where we are, we just tell them to come to village Punrasar. The address on the papers says Bikaner-331811, but for us, it’s just home. We spend our days talking about seeds, weather, and how to get things to market without too much trouble. It is a slow process building this up, but that is how things go here. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just trying to do okay for our families. That is pretty much what Maru Vikas is about.
