Gilani Computers

Our shop is Gilani Computers and you can find us in Ward No. 03 on Surnana Road. We are pretty close to the Government Senior Secondary School in Lunkaransar. Because of the school, we get a lot of students coming in to print out their homework or ask about computer problems. The shop is small and usually smells like warm electronics. We have a few old monitors sitting on the back shelves that we use for parts. Most of the time, we are busy fixing laptops or setting up printers for people in the village. It can be a bit dusty on Surnana Road so we have to wipe down the keyboards every morning. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to sit and wait because the backup battery doesn't last forever. We aren't experts in everything, but we know enough to help the locals with their tech issues. We started this place because there wasn't anywhere else nearby to get a computer fixed. It’s just a one-room setup with a couple of benches. We keep the doors open to let some air in during the day. People drop off their machines and we tell them to come back in a day or two. We don't have a website or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s a quiet way to make a living in Lunkaransar.
