Malik Cement

Down here in Ward Number 39 of Anisa Nangli Village, things are pretty quiet compared to the big cities. Malik Cement is located near the Mehmoodpur Post Office in Dhampur Tehsil. It’s a rural area where everyone mostly knows everyone else. We set up shop here because we wanted to serve the local village community. Most of our work involves helping neighbors get the materials they need for their farms or houses. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a local operation. The bags of cement arrive by truck, and we stack them in our storehouse. Sometimes the roads in the tehsil get a bit rough, especially after it rains, so we have to be careful with the transport. We spend our days chatting with the locals who stop by for a chat or to check on prices. It’s a relaxed way of doing business. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency around. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day. The post office is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. We’ve been part of this village for a while and plan to stay. It’s hard work, lifting all those bags, but it’s honest. There’s no fluff or fancy talk here, just cement and hard work. Running a business in a small village has its challenges, but we enjoy the familiar faces every day.
