Hindustan Metal Works

You can find us over at No. C- 16 in Maheshpur, Chandpur. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always some kind of machine humming or a hammer hitting something nearby. We work with metal all day long. It’s dirty work, and our workshop is usually covered in scrap pieces and oil stains. We’ve got a couple of old machines that have been with us since the beginning. They might look a bit rusty on the outside, but they still get the job done better than some of the newer stuff. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up, working on an order. The summers are the hardest because the metal gets hot and the fans don't do much against the furnace heat. But we don't complain much; it’s the work we chose. We take on all sorts of metal tasks, mostly for the local businesses around Chandpur. We aren't a massive factory, just a group of people who know how to handle tools. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait, which is frustrating, but that’s just life in an industrial estate. We keep our doors open for anyone who needs something made or fixed properly without any fancy talk or high prices. It’s just honest labor we do every day.
