We are located out in V.P.O.-Suawala in the Bijnor district of U.P. It is a bit quieter out here than in the big cities, which we actually prefer. Our work involves a lot of metal, as you can probably guess from the name. We have a shop where we process different materials and get them ready for shipping. It’s a lot of repetitive work, honestly. One guy might spend his whole afternoon just checking dimensions or moving crates. We’ve been in this part of Uttar Pradesh for a good while, and most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. It makes for a nice atmosphere because everyone knows each other’s families. We don’t have a big marketing department or a polished website. We just have our building and the machines inside. Some days it gets really hot, and we have to take extra breaks, but the work always gets done eventually. We deal with whatever metal orders come our way, whether they are big or small. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down right when we are busy, but we just call the local mechanic and deal with it. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. We just focus on the tasks right in front of us and try to keep things moving along smoothly. It’s not much, but it is our job.
