Srs Exports

Srs Exports is located at unit 16 in Nehru Market. The market is always a very lively place, especially in the early morning when the vendors are all setting up their spots. Our place is right in the middle of that activity. Since we are in the export business, there is usually a lot of packing and labeling happening throughout the day. We don’t really have much room for a showroom or anything like that, so most of our space is just filled up with boxes and crates that are ready to be shipped out. Nehru Market has been our home for many years now. We have seen a lot of other shops come and go, but we have stayed in the same unit. The days are usually spent on the phone with transport companies or checking our inventory lists to make sure everything is correct. It is not a very glamorous job, but it keeps us very busy. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it is hard to move the bigger crates around, but we have figured out how to manage it over time. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just simple lists and a lot of coordination. Most of our neighbors in the market are friendly and we often grab a quick lunch from the stalls nearby. It is a very grounded way to work and we like the routine of it. There is always noise and movement, but that is just how the market is. We keep the doors open and just get on with it.
