This is where we handle things for Birla Sunlife and Citi Bank. We are located over on Indi Road in Bijapur, right at house number 1027. It's the Vijaymahantesh V Balaganur place, in care of V V Balaganur. If you know the Bijapur area, it’s not too hard to find us once you get onto Indi Road. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now. It’s a mix of different tasks since we deal with both the bank stuff and the insurance side of things. People from all around the neighborhood stop by when they have a small problem or just need to sign a document they received in the mail. The office is really simple inside, just some basic chairs and desks and the usual computer equipment we need. We don't have a big neon sign or anything flashy outside, we just do our work and keep to ourselves. Being in Bijapur means we see a lot of local faces and we know the stories of the people who live nearby. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty outside because of the road construction or the wind, but inside we keep it clean enough to work. We handle the paperwork for people's bank accounts and their insurance bits. It’s a lot of typing on the keyboard and checking ID cards to make sure everything matches up. We aren't trying to be some big, polished corporate office with suits and ties, we just want to help the people who come through the door. Usually, it's just one or two of us working here at a time. We know the Indi Road layout very well. The building has been here for years and it’s sturdy. We just try to get through the daily pile of forms without making mistakes that cause delays later on. It’s basic work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Most days are exactly the same, which is fine with us because we like the routine. We just keep the files in order and do what's expected of us.
