B L D E Association ,Vachna Pitamaha Dr Pg Halakatti College Of Engineering & Technology.

Our college is part of the B L D E Association and is named after Vachna Pitamaha Dr P G Halakatti. We are situated on Sholapur Road, which is a main route that stays busy most of the time. The campus is quite sprawling with many different wings for the technical departments. It has been around for many years, so some of the buildings have that older, established look to them. We have a lot of students who travel quite a distance to get here every day. The morning rush at the gate is always a bit chaotic with everyone trying to get to their first class on time. Inside the labs, you will find students working on their projects and experiments. We have plenty of staff members who have been here for decades. The halls are wide and usually echo a bit when they are empty. We have a canteen on the grounds where everyone goes for tea and snacks. It is a very straightforward place to work or study. We don’t have a lot of modern glass architecture; it’s mostly solid brick and concrete. The offices are filled with files and old registers because we’ve been keeping records for a long time. It’s a busy atmosphere but it feels familiar to everyone who has been here for more than a semester. We just focus on the daily routine of teaching and keeping things running.
