Patsan Dining Hall

Patsan Dining Hall is tucked away inside Alankar Plaza right there at Tippu Sultan Chock. If you know Talikota, you know how busy this corner gets. We spend most of our mornings getting the tables ready and making sure the floor is swept before the first people walk in from the street. It’s a plain place, nothing too special to look at, but it stays busy because of where it is in the Bijapur district. We also see a lot of folks who are heading out towards Hubli since we serve that area too. The fans hum all day to keep the heat off, and there is always the sound of metal plates clattering in the back. Sometimes the supply trucks take forever to get through the traffic at the chock, which can be a real headache. Most of our regulars are local workers or families who just want a place to sit for a bit. We don't really do much in the way of fancy stuff, just keep the lights on and the water jugs filled. Living and working here in 586101 means you get used to the noise and the constant movement of people. It’s just how it is for us every day, keeping things moving along. Usually, by the time evening rolls around, we are quite tired, but there is always something to clean or a list for the next morning. It is a simple life here in Talikota, and we just keep the doors open.
