Siddeshwar Agro Kendra

This shop is in Balganur, which is a quiet place most of the year until the planting season starts. Being an agro kendra means we see a lot of the local farmers every single day. They come in to talk about the weather and what seeds they should be putting in the ground this time around. We keep a good stock of fertilizers and various bits of equipment they might need for their fields. It's a simple shop with a concrete floor and shelves that are usually packed tight. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the locals by name. It’s the kind of place where someone might drop by just to sit for a bit and share some news from the next village over. We are at the post office area of Balganur, so everyone passes by eventually. The work follows the seasons. When it rains, we are incredibly busy. When it’s dry, things slow down and we spend more time just tidying up the store or checking the inventory. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most people just walk in or call us on the phone. It’s honest work helping the farmers get what they need so they can get back to their land. We’ve been here for years and the shop hasn’t changed much, which I think people actually like.
