If you go down Guru Nanak Road into the industrial area, you’ll find us at the Manihar Complex. We’re in unit 162/a2. It’s a pretty busy spot with a lot of noise from the other workshops around us. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone welding something nearby. We handle a lot of fabrication work here, mostly stuff related to farming equipment. It gets pretty hot in the shop during the summer, especially with the machines running all day. The floor is usually covered in some scraps or iron filings, even though we try to sweep up. People bring in their tractors or broken parts that need fixing, and we see what we can do. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we get the job done. Sometimes the trucks blocking the road make it hard to get in, but that’s life in an industrial area. We’ve been at this complex for a while now. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We just take things one day at a time, fixing what needs to be fixed. It’s a lot of manual labor and getting your hands dirty. We don’t do much advertising, mostly it’s just people telling their neighbors about us. If you’re looking for a shiny office, this isn’t it. It’s just a workshop where we work with steel and machines every day. We just keep our heads down and work.
