Ups Fly Ash Bricks

You can find us on Nalanda Street in Silao. We are right near the Government High School. It’s a lively spot because of the kids coming and going during the day. We’ve been set up here for some time now. Working with fly ash is a bit different than the traditional clay bricks, but the process is still mostly about the hands-on labor. The yard gets pretty gray from the material, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics to keep things moving. Silao is a small town and everyone pretty much knows where the school is, so finding us isn't too hard. We spend most of our hours outdoors. It gets hot, and the work is tiring, but we stick to it. We aren't big on talking about ourselves. We just show up and do the work. The neighbors are used to us by now. We try to keep things as tidy as you can in a brickyard, which isn’t always easy. We have a small crew and we all know our roles. It’s a practical business. No big corporate meetings or anything like that. Just bricks being made and stacked on Nalanda Street. It’s what we know how to do. The school bell rings and we know it’s almost time to wrap things up for the afternoon. We just stay here and keep the stacks high.
