Lafarge Cement

Lafarge Cement is situated in the Mango area of Jamshedpur. We are based at Road No. 15 in Jawahar Nagar, right at Mr. M.C. Madhukar’s place. Jamshedpur is a big industrial town, but the Mango area has its own busy life. It is often very crowded with people and traffic, especially near the main roads. Our office is tucked away in a more residential part of Jawahar Nagar, which makes it easier to work. The weather in Jharkhand can be very humid, so we usually have the fans running at full speed all day long. We deal with the cement side of the business here, so there is always talk about bags and deliveries. The office isn't very large, but we have enough space for the three or four of us who sit here. We have a lot of old registers and folders because we still like to keep physical records of things. Mr. Madhukar is around most of the time, and we all just get along with the daily chores of the business. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common here, but we just wait it out or use the backup if we really need to. It is a humble place, nothing fancy at all. We just focus on the cement orders and making sure the local shops get what they need. It’s a basic setup that has served us well for a long time without needing much change.
