Food Embassy

We are located at Plot No- 2273/4102 on Biju Patnaik College Road in the Jaydev Vihar area of Bhubaneshwar. Being right in front of the Bhagbati Temple means we hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is a nice background sound. It’s a very busy road because of all the students from the college walking back and forth. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and setting up the space for the day. Jaydev Vihar has grown a lot, and there are always new things happening nearby, but we just stick to our routine. The humidity in Bhubaneshwar can be pretty tough, so we’re always making sure the place stays as cool as possible for everyone. We spend a good amount of time cleaning the floors and checking our stock of ingredients. It is a basic place where we focus on the work at hand. Most of our customers are students or people visiting the temple who just need a place to sit for a bit. We don't really do anything fancy, we just make sure we are ready when the lunch rush starts. It involves a lot of standing around and waiting, followed by a lot of running around when it gets busy. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized. The temple across the road reminds us to stay calm even when it's chaotic.
