Roshan Higher Primary School

You’ll find this school in the Old Town area of Bhalki Town, Bidar 585328. It’s a primary school, so we deal with the younger children from around the neighborhood. The building is quite simple and sits in a part of town that has a lot of history. Bidar can be very dry, especially in the summer months, and the school building stays relatively cool because of the thick walls. We don't have many fancy facilities. There are basic classrooms with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The playground is just a small open space where the kids run around during their breaks. Most of the families who send their children here are local workers and shopkeepers from the Old Town. We have a small group of teachers who handle all the subjects. It’s a modest place where we just try to teach the basics like reading, writing, and some math. There isn't any big corporate funding or anything like that. We just rely on the local community and the fees to keep the lights on. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky roof or repaint a door, but it’s a sturdy little school. We’ve been here for quite some time and most people in Bhalki know the name Roshan. It’s just a regular school for regular kids in a quiet corner of Bidar.
