Meridian High Twinkle Primary School

If you go near the Chowbara in Bidar and look for the Jama Masjid, you will find us right next door. Being in Chidri means we are in a very old and busy part of the city. The school is called Meridian High Twinkle Primary School, which is a bit of a long name for such a small place like this. We mostly handle the younger kids in the primary years. The building is tucked away in the narrow streets, and you can hear the sounds from the masjid and the local market all day long. It is a lively atmosphere to work in. The classrooms are a bit tight, but we manage to fit everyone in comfortably enough for their lessons. We have some drawings and alphabets painted on the walls to make it look a bit more cheerful for the little ones. During the breaks, the children go out to the small courtyard we have in the middle. Bidar gets very cold in the winter and quite hot in the summer, so we are always adjusting the windows to keep the air right. The staff stays busy with the lesson plans and keeping the registers up to date. We do not have a big front office, just a wooden desk near the entrance where people can come and ask questions. It is a local school for the families living in these lanes. Most of the kids walk here.
