Computer Operator

I’m situated at the Post in Sulahalli, via Wadi Junction. It’s an interesting spot to be because of the railway connection nearby. Being a computer operator in this area means I see a lot of different people coming through. My work is mostly about handling the daily requirements of the local community. I have a small office where I keep my computer and a few other pieces of gear. It’s not very fancy; the paint on the walls is a bit old and the furniture has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. I spend hours every day typing out reports or helping people with their online work. Since we are near Wadi Jn, things can get quite busy when the trains are running. I like the steady rhythm of the work. I don't have a big philosophy about what I do. I just know that computers can be tricky for some people, and I’m here to bridge that gap. Usually, I start my day early and keep going until the work is finished. It’s a practical job. I don't use any complicated jargon or try to sound like I’m some big expert. I’m just a guy who knows how to operate the machines and is happy to help his neighbors. It’s a decent life here in Sulahalli, and the work keeps me connected to everyone around. The dust from the road sometimes settles on the keyboard, so I have to wipe it down every few hours. It’s just one of those things you deal with.
