Carmel D.Ed. College. We are located over in Bidar, specifically at Maria Nilaya. It's a bit of a quiet spot, which is good for the students who are training to be teachers. Most days start pretty early here. You can hear the morning sounds before the classes begin. We have students coming from different parts of Karnataka, and they stay around the campus or nearby. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it’s sturdy and serves the purpose. We spend a lot of time on lesson plans and teaching practice. It’s hard work for the trainees. Bidar gets quite hot in the summer, so we all slow down a bit then. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. People find out about us through word of mouth mostly. The staff is local, and we’ve been working together for a while now. We share lunch in the small break area. It’s a humble setup. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the usual blackboards and some charts. The idea is just to help these young people get their diplomas so they can go work in schools. It’s practical and straightforward. We see them come in a bit nervous and leave ready to manage a classroom of kids. That's just how it goes here every year. It’s a peaceful place to work and learn, really. The flowers in the garden are a nice touch when they bloom.
