Out here in Bhuj, things move at their own pace. Shree Odhav Event Organisers is located over at Plot No 13 on New Station Road. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you know where the station is. We have been working out of this office for quite a while now. Most of our mornings start with checking lists and calling up people for supplies. Running events in a place like Bhuj means you have to know everyone. We do a lot of the heavy lifting that people don’t see. It's mostly about making sure the chairs arrive on time or the lights actually turn on. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just organize things. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and that makes outdoor setups a bit of a struggle, but we manage. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a desk and some chairs where we meet families to talk about their plans. We’ve seen New Station Road change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. It’s a practical business. Focusing on the details of the day helps the people hosting the event not to worry as much. It’s honest work and keeps us busy all year round. We just show up, do the job, and move on to the next one. It is a simple way of working that suits the town.
