Shraddha School & College

Shraddha School & College is right on the Bhuj Madhapar Ring Road in Madhapar. Being in Bhuj, we get a lot of dust and wind, especially since the ring road is a wide, open area. The building is quite prominent, and you can see it from a distance when you are driving toward Madhapar. We have both school and college students here, so the age range is pretty broad. The younger kids are usually in one wing, and the older ones are in another. The courtyard is where everyone ends up during the breaks, and it can get quite lively. We have a big gate that stays shut during the middle of the day for safety. The classrooms are fairly large, with plenty of room for the students to sit without being too cramped. We have some trees planted along the fence, but they are still quite small and don't provide much shade yet. The office is a busy place where parents come to pay fees or ask about their children's progress. We have a lot of wooden cupboards filled with old files and books. The floors are made of stone, which stays relatively cool even when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the roof. It is a solid, hardworking kind of place that serves the local community without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Everything is kept as simple as possible.
