Park View

Park View is located right opposite the Jilla Panchayat on Chhathi Bari Ring Road. If you know Kutch, you know this area gets quite a bit of activity. Our building sits right on the ring road, so we see all the trucks and cars passing by all day long. It’s not the quietest spot in the world, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got some old chairs for visitors and a few computers that have been around for several years. We don’t really spend money on fancy decorations or expensive rugs. Most of our time is spent looking at local maps or talking to people about land and buildings. The view of the Jilla Panchayat across the road is our main landmark. It’s easy to tell people where we are when they get lost. Working in Kutch has its own pace. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days everything happens at once. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us here at Park View. We like being on the Ring Road because it feels like we are in the middle of things. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall owner knows our order by heart. It’s a simple life and we just take things as they come.
