You will find us right in the middle of the Market Yard here in Kutch. It is a very busy and loud place, especially in the early mornings when all the big trucks are coming in and out with their goods. Our office is right where the action is because that is where the people are. We handle the local money stuff, mostly helping out the folks who are spending their days buying and selling things in the market. It is a lot of cash, big ledgers, and talking to people that we have known for many years. The dust from the yard gets into everything, so the office always seems to need a good sweep every few hours. We are not like those big banks you see in the city with the glass walls and the air conditioning that is way too cold. It is just a practical space for practical people. Sometimes we have to shout a bit just to be heard over the noise of the market outside, but you get used to it after a week. We see a lot of the same faces every single day, which is nice. It feels more like a community meeting spot than just a regular business office. We help with the daily transactions and make sure everything is accounted for before the sun goes down and the yard closes up.
