Ayurvedic - Dr. Anil S. Majethia

Our clinic is right on Hospital Road in Kutch, directly opposite the General Hospital. It’s an interesting spot to be because the General Hospital is always so loud and crowded with people rushing in and out. Meanwhile, our Ayurvedic clinic under Dr. Anil S. Majethia feels a lot more grounded and calm. We see the contrast every day when we look out the front door. The road is constantly full of rickshaws and people walking back and forth between the different medical shops. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are benches for people to sit on and shelves filled with different Ayurvedic preparations and bottles. We spend a lot of time grinding herbs or mixing up batches of things. It’s a very hands-on kind of work. The clinic isn't very big, so we have to stay organized, or things get cluttered pretty quickly. We have a lot of regular patients who have been coming to see us for years. They usually stop by to chat even if they don't have an appointment that day. The heat in Kutch can be quite intense, so we keep the fans going all day long to stay cool. We don't use a lot of fancy medical jargon; we just explain things in plain words that everyone can understand. It’s a practical way of working, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We are just a small part of the healthcare scene on this busy road.
