Sonthalia Rice Mill Co.

We are tucked away in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate at Sonthalia Rice Mill Co. Our units are S-3/36 and 37 in Zone-B. It’s a lot of numbers to remember, but once you get into Sec-A, it’s not too hard to spot us. Being in an industrial zone means we have a lot of neighbors doing all sorts of manufacturing. It’s a bit different from a village mill, but the work is mostly the same. We spend our days managing the machines and watching the output. The floor is usually covered in husks and the air is thick. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. It's a practical setup. We don't have a lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the loading docks. We keep things moving as best as we can. Sometimes the parts for the mill are hard to find, so we have to get creative with repairs. It’s just me and a few local guys running the show. We don’t do big presentations. People know we are here and they know what we do. It’s a busy environment with trucks coming in and out of the estate all day long. We just try to stay on top of the orders and keep the equipment from breaking down. It's a standard day's work for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the machines to finish their cycles.
