Om Sai Travels

Om Sai Travels is our small travel office located inside the Laxmipriya Complex. It’s a familiar building for most people in this neighborhood. We’ve been sitting at these same desks for years, helping people figure out how to get from one place to another. Whether it’s booking a bus, a train, or a car for a family trip, we just try to find something that works for their schedule. The office is usually filled with old calendars and maps pinned to the walls. It isn't a high-tech travel agency with fancy screens; it’s mostly just us on the phone or checking schedules on the computer. We get a lot of walk-ins from the other shops in the complex. People stop by to ask about ticket prices while they’re out running other errands. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to come back in an hour, which is just how things go sometimes. We know the local routes pretty well and can tell you which roads are currently under construction or which buses are usually late. It’s a quiet business for the most part, except when the holiday seasons roll around and everyone wants to travel at once. We just enjoy chatting with the travelers and hearing where they’re headed. It’s a decent way to spend the day, and we've met some interesting people along the way.
