Good Shafard Higher Primary School

Our school is located at 189, Ga Plot No 347 in Niladri Bihar, which is part of the Chandrasekharpur area in Bhubaneshwar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s basically in the heart of Sailashree Vihar. We handle the higher primary years, so the students are a bit older. The building itself is quite functional. We have the classrooms laid out in a simple way. It’s not a huge campus, so you get to know everyone pretty quickly. The air in this part of Bhubaneshwar can get quite humid, so the fans are almost always going in the rooms. We focus on the basics here. There are no fancy high-tech gadgets, just good old-fashioned teaching with books and paper. The staff room is usually a mess of notebooks and tea cups. We have a small area where kids can stand around during their breaks. The street outside is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down, though that’s hard with a school full of children. Every morning is a bit of a rush to get everyone inside before the bell. We deal with the same issues every day, like making sure the water cooler is filled and the registers are marked. It is a very down-to-earth place. We are just a group of people working together to keep the school running.
