Our place is at Plot/3145/871(C) on Canal Road in the Oldtown area of Bhubaneswar. It’s right by the Garage Chhak, which is a spot most people around here know. Working with minerals means things can get a bit messy. We have piles of samples and bags of material sitting around the office and the yard. Bhubaneswar is a city with a lot of history, especially in the Oldtown section. You can see the old temples not too far from where we work. The Canal Road sees a lot of traffic, mostly trucks coming and going. At Core Minerals Pvt Ltd, we spend our time checking the quality of what comes in. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on our feet or looking at spreadsheets. The weather in Odisha can be really tough during the summer, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning. We aren't a huge corporation with a glass building. We are just a local company in a practical location. People stop by the garage chhak and sometimes drop in to ask questions. We keep things simple. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the minerals and making sure the orders are filled correctly. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years. We finish the work, sweep the office, and head home.
