Atdc Ignou Community College

We are tucked away in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate, specifically at A/33 in the Rasulgarh area. It’s a very practical kind of place. Outside, you hear the sounds of the industrial area, trucks moving and people working. Inside the college, things are a bit quieter but still very active. Students come from all over this part of Bhubaneswar to sit in our classrooms. Most of the time, the hallways are full of people talking about their next exam or trying to figure out a project. It’s not a shiny new campus with marble floors, but it works for what we need. We have desks, some basic equipment, and teachers who have been doing this for years. The Rasulgarh traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings, so everyone usually tries to leave right on time. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running, fixing chairs, or making sure the lights are working in the lab sections. It feels very much like a part of the local community here. It’s a place for people who want to learn a trade or get a better job. There isn't much fluff about it. We just open the doors early in the morning and stay until the last student finishes up. Sometimes we have tea together in the break area when things slow down. It’s just a normal school day, day after day.
