Our location is at Qrs-No 2Ra-Flat-36/7 in Unit-9, Bhubaneswar. It’s a government-style residential area, which makes for a very specific kind of workspace. We operate as Samsung India Pvt Ltd from this flat. It’s quiet for the most part, except for when the local vendors pass by. The rooms are filled with boxes and filing cabinets. We don't have a big sign outside, so people usually have to look for the quarter number. We handle the local side of things here, mostly coordination and keeping track of what’s happening in the Orissa region. It’s a small team, maybe three or four of us on a busy day. We like the green trees around Unit-9; it makes the walk to the office pleasant. Inside, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the work to worry about that. We have a small table for our tea breaks and we usually talk about local news or the weather. The heat in Bhubaneswar can be intense, so we stay indoors mostly. It’s a simple life. We make sure the documents are filed and the emails are answered. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a basic kettle. It’s an honest place where we work hard and go home when the sun sets. We've been here for years and the pace suits us just fine.
