National Productivity Council

We’ve been here at 39 Surya Nagar Unit 7 for a while now. It’s a quiet enough spot. Most people around here know where we are, but sometimes visitors get a bit turned around looking for Unit 7. The National Productivity Council has a lot of paperwork and files to go through every day. Our desks are usually covered in folders. It’s not the fanciest office you’ll ever see. We have a small kettle in the corner that makes a loud noise when it boils. That’s where we get our tea. The windows face the street, so we see people walking by all afternoon. It can get a bit dusty if we leave them open too long. Some of us have worked here for years. We know the squeak in the floorboards near the front door. It’s just how the building is. We spend most of our time looking at data or talking about how things could run smoother. It’s steady work. Sometimes the printer jams and we have to spend twenty minutes fixing it. That’s just part of the day. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just a regular door on Surya Nagar. If you walk past too fast, you might miss us. We try to keep things organized, but there's always something new coming in. It keeps us busy. The neighbors are nice, mostly families and a few other small offices nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
