Micro Enterprise Consultant

Our office is at 243 Sahid Nagar in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. We’ve been here in this part of India for quite some time now. Micro Enterprise Consultant is really just a few of us sitting in a room helping people figure out their small business problems. It’s not like those big consulting firms you see in cities like Delhi or Mumbai. We know the local market here in Bhubaneswar and we understand the struggles of running a small shop or a local service. People come in with their ledgers and their plans, and we just sit down and talk through them. We look at the numbers and try to find where they can save a bit of money or how they can reach a few more customers in the neighborhood. Sahid Nagar is a good place to be because there are so many other small businesses right around us. We see the owners at the tea stall and we know what they’re going through. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated theories. We just look at the practical side of things. If something isn't working, we say so. Our office is simple, just some desks and chairs and a lot of paper. We like the directness of our work and the fact that we can actually see the results in our community when a shop does a little better.
