We work out of a place in Jagannathpur, which falls under the Jadunathpur Sasan post office in the Khandapara area of Nayagarh. It is quite a distance from the main city of Bhubaneswar, but we prefer the quietness of this location. Our setup is simple and we operate from the premises of Dinabandhu Sahoo. This isn't a typical city office with air conditioning and cubicles. It’s a much more traditional setting where we focus on local project coordination. The pace of life here is slower, which actually helps us focus on the details of what we are doing. We know just about everyone in the village and they know us too. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or slow internet, so we’ve learned to be very patient. We don't use fancy software for everything; a lot of our planning happens with a pen and a notebook. Being close to the actual ground reality of our projects is important to us. There’s a gravel path leading up to the entrance and a lot of greenery all around. It feels very grounded and real. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated team doing practical work in a place we care about. We usually start our day early to beat the heat and finish up as the sun starts to go down. It’s honest, local work.
