Down in Bhubaneswar, we are set up in the Chandaka Industrial Estate. Specifically, we are in the Biitm building, which is F 4. Most people recognize the area because it’s right opposite Infocity in Patia. It is quite a busy stretch of road, especially with all the students and office workers moving around this part of Khurda district. The atmosphere here in Orissa is usually quite warm, and the industrial estate has a very specific kind of energy. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of vehicles and people moving between the different blocks. Our office here at Icici is just a regular workspace. We have our desks, our computers, and the usual stacks of paper that seem to never go away. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people working in a busy part of the city. The lunch hours are when it gets really lively outside with all the food stalls nearby. We usually take turns heading out or just eating at our desks if there is a lot to do. Working in an industrial area means you meet all sorts of people, from students to business owners. The building is a bit older, so it has its quirks, but it serves its purpose. We just show up every morning, do what needs to be done, and head home like everyone else in Patia at the end of the day.
