Our office is located out in Sangram Pur, which is part of the Kendrapara district. To get to us, you usually have to travel via Rajkanika, so it’s a very local operation for this area. We are based at Upendra Nayak’s place. It isn't like a standard office you would find in a big city mall; it’s a real, lived-in space that we use for business. We handle all the insurance needs for the people in the village and the surrounding Po Koili Pur area. It is very quiet around here most days. We spend our time waiting for the post to arrive or for locals to drop by with their various documents. There’s a lot of trust in our work because everyone in the community knows each other. We don’t have fancy equipment, just the basic essentials to get the paperwork done for Icici Prudential Life Insurance Company. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to meet people who live further out and can't make it to Sangram Pur themselves. The roads aren't always in the best shape, especially when it rains heavily. We keep our files in big steel cupboards to keep them safe from the humidity and dust. It’s a simple way of living and working. We work hard to make sure the records are accurate for everyone here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the district well. It’s a good community to be part of, and we enjoy the quiet pace.
