Gypsy Shack Holidays Pvt. Ltd.

We are based at E 5 Surendra Garden, right off Hosangabad Road. It’s a residential-looking spot but we have turned it into our office for Gypsy Shack Holidays Pvt. Ltd. The walls are covered with a few maps and some pictures of places we've sent people to. Most of our day is spent on the computer looking at flight schedules or talking to hotels. Hosangabad Road is right outside, so there’s a constant hum of traffic and people moving about. We get quite a few phone calls from people who are stressed about their travel plans, so we spend a lot of time just listening and trying to sort things out for them. It’s not always easy because sometimes things go wrong that we can't control, like weather or delays. The office is usually a bit of a mess with notebooks and half-drunk cups of tea everywhere. We try to keep it friendly here, so anyone who walks in usually gets a seat and a bit of a chat. We aren't a huge company with fancy software, we just use what we have and try to get the bookings done right. Sometimes we stay late into the evening if there’s a complicated itinerary to finish. It’s a lot of detail work and keeping track of dates and names. We just enjoy the process of helping someone get from one place to another.
