You can find us at Plot No. A, Mig-40 in Phase-III of Rajeev Nagar. We have a yard full of TMT steel bars and stacks of cement bags. It is heavy work moving this stuff around. The cement dust gets in your lungs if you are not careful, and the steel is sharp on the edges. We spend the morning unloading deliveries and the afternoon loading up customers' trucks. Bhopal is a busy city and Rajeev Nagar has a lot of construction going on. We are right in the middle of it. Our office is just a small room with a desk and some chairs. We don't have any fancy decorations. Most of our time is spent out on the plot checking the stock. We have to keep the cement dry, so if it looks like rain, we are all running around with tarps. It is a simple operation run by a few of us who know the building trade. We don't try to be something we are not. We just sell the basics that people need to build their houses. It is a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps us out of trouble. Most days are long, but we like the routine of the yard.
