Sharma Sweets

Sharma Sweets is located at Shop No. 7 on the Main Road in M P Nagar. We are right by the Jyoti Cineplex, so it gets very busy when a movie lets out. The shop has been here for years, and we have seen the area change a lot. Every morning, we start early to get everything ready. The smell of frying and sugar fills the whole street before most people are even awake. It is a small shop, and space is tight, especially behind the counter. We have glass cases filled with all the usual stuff people like to eat. We don't use any fancy packaging or have a website. People just come in, point at what they want, and we wrap it up in paper or boxes. The noise from the main road is constant, with horns and people talking, but we are used to it by now. In the evenings, there is usually a crowd of people standing around outside having a quick snack. We don't have many places to sit, so most people just take their sweets and go. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we enjoy seeing the regular faces who come in every week. We just try to keep things fresh and make sure the trays are always full. It is a basic business, but it keeps us busy.
