Rohini Soft Toys

You can find us at House No. 129 in Priyadarshini Nagar. We are right near the 2nd Stop, which is not far from Narmada Bhawan. Rohini Soft Toys is basically what the name says. We make and sell soft, stuffed toys for kids. The house is often full of fluff and fabric scraps from our work. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but that is just how it goes when you are making things by hand. We have a few sewing machines running through most of the afternoon. It is a constant humming sound that we have all gotten used to by now. We started this because we liked the idea of making something that would make a child smile. We are not a big factory with assembly lines. It is more of a home-based business that grew a little bit over time. We do not have a big neon sign outside, just the house number on the gate. People in the neighborhood know who we are. We sell to some of the local shops and also directly to parents who drop by the house. We try to make sure every stitch is tight so the toys do not fall apart during play. It is simple work, but it takes a lot of patience to get the shapes right. We just take it day by day.
