Ravi Glass Emporium

Ravi Glass Emporium is over at Plot No. 209. We are located in the lane near Hotel Arya Bhavan, right in Zone-2 of M. P. Nagar. This is a very active part of the city and there are always people looking for things in these narrow lanes. Our shop is full of glass in all shapes and sizes. We have mirrors leaning against the back wall and thick glass sheets for tables stacked up near the front. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of stock delivered. The air always smells a bit like window cleaner and metal. We don't have a fancy display window ourselves, which is funny for a glass shop, but we just use the space to store more material. Most of our customers are locals from M. P. Nagar or people who are staying at the nearby hotels and need something repaired. We spend a lot of time with measuring tapes and glass cutters. You have to have a steady hand for this kind of work or you end up wasting a lot of material. We have a few old chairs for people to sit on while they wait for a piece to be cut. It’s a simple shop and we have been here long enough that we don't need to shout about what we do. People just know we are here. It's a dusty but good business.
