Paraathe Sharaathe

Our little shop is at number 24 on Shridhar Mohini Parisar Road in Indrapuri. Being near Gaurav Dairy helps because everyone knows that landmark. Sector C can get quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk or running errands. We chose this spot in Bhopal because it felt like a good place to be. We focus mostly on making parathas, and the griddle stays hot almost all day long. It's a small space, so you can see exactly what is happening in the kitchen from where you sit. We don't have a big storage area, so we have to get fresh supplies very often. Sometimes the delivery guy gets stuck in traffic and we have to wait, which can be annoying. We have some basic posters on the walls and the lighting is just regular bulbs. It’s not a designer space. We spend most of our energy on the cooking part of the job. Most of our customers are people from the nearby houses or students who want something quick. We don't have a lot of rules here. It's just a place where we work and try to keep things moving. The floor gets a bit of flour on it during the busy hours, but we sweep it up when things quiet down. We had to fix the legs on one of the tables last week because it was wobbling too much. Now it's fine and back in use.
